Hello, welcome to this sacred safe space! My name is James Wilson, the Rooted Shaman. I am a shamanic practitioner and Reiki practitioner/ energy healer. I read tarot and runes.

Walking this life, we all have many trials and challenges that we all have to face, and we can lose pieces of ourselves along the way. We can feel disconnected from our divine connection. I found my calling in assisting others through the many healing modalities I’ve learned. Our roots run deep and wide. We are all connected in this web of life. As we all heal, we uplift others and assist in the change this world deserves. I look forward to hearing from you. Many blessings and love!

Who Am I

Certificate of achievement for James Wilson in USUI/HOLY FIRE® III REIKI RYOHO Level II, signed by Kelly E. Baker, with gold seal and certification logos.

I am a son, a brother, a father, a husband, but most of all, I am an infinite child of the cosmos. As I walk with the ebb and flow of this life, I choose to embrace compassion, love, peace, and understanding for all. My journey started one day when my life changed suddenly. I woke up one day feeling lost and disconnected from everyone and everything. As I searched for meaning, I tried to understand what was missing. It was me, the true me, the one that had been hidden for some many years, just trying to survive. I stumbled across a little shop named Peaceful Warriors Apothecary. Little did I know I would meet my Reiki teacher and friend, Kelly Baker. Which led me to shamanism and my shamanic teacher, Dwight Harriman. As I dove into Reiki and shamanism, my life started to flourish and grow. So much opened up, I began to see things differently, and I began to view how beautiful this life can be for us. As I was healing myself, I was amazed at the peace I found. I see so much negativity that grips our world. I believe that if I can help one person, and that person helps another, and another person helps another, then we can start healing each other as a collective whole. We can start making changes that can alter this world. A world where humanity becomes a united whole, where everyone is loved and supported. This beautiful world deserves so much more than what is given. It is time for us to find our way back to our center, reunite ourselves with our infinite creator, and shake this disconnect.

A shaman is a spiritual figure found in many indigenous cultures around the world, known for acting as an intermediary between the human and spirit worlds. Shamans are believed to have the ability to enter altered states of consciousness—often through rituals, drumming, chanting, fasting, or the use of natural substances—in order to gain insight, heal individuals, or guide their communities.

They commonly serve multiple roles, including healer, spiritual guide, protector, and counselor. The practices and beliefs surrounding shamans vary widely depending on the cultural and geographic context, but their core function typically involves communicating with spirits, ancestors, or natural forces to restore balance and address issues affecting individuals or the community.

Shamanism is not a religion in itself but rather a spiritual practice that can exist within or alongside various religious systems. The term "shaman" originates from the Tungusic language of Siberia, but has been broadly applied by anthropologists to describe similar figures in other traditions.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. It is based on the idea that a universal life force energy flows through all living things, and when this energy is low or blocked, it can lead to physical or emotional imbalances.

In a typical Reiki session, a trained practitioner uses their hands to channel energy into the recipient’s body, either through light touch or by holding their hands just above the body. The goal is to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support the body’s natural healing processes. Reiki is non-invasive and often used as a complementary practice alongside conventional medical treatments.

Many people report feeling calmer, more centered, or emotionally balanced after sessions. Reiki is not tied to any religion and is generally considered a holistic approach to well-being.
